Night number two.
It's almost five in the morning and I'm still wide awake. I accidentally fell asleep at six last night and woke up at nine, so I've only been up for eight hours. Oh, kill me now. I took a walk at three, and just got back, so now my blood is pumping and my brain is working overtime.
I'm becoming a vampire. Too many things to see online, and nothing to really do during the day, except work on occasion. I really need to get back to some normal hours. Either that or get a night job. A night job sounds good, although I'm Procrastination Man! and probably won't go get one, if there is even one to get in this town.
Oh, well. I just downloaded Merry Andrew tonight, and will watch that until I tire.
Anybody else remember Merry Andrew, with Danny Kaye? Great movie, as I recall, although I haven't seen it in years. I hope it hasn't gotten stupid as I grow older. I've found that lots of movies are like that. I loved the movie Weird Science as a teenager, but a couple of months ago I tried to watch it again and couldn't get through it because it was so stupid. Not even a 23-year old Kelly LeBrock in a bikini could keep me interested.
Or try some TV shows. I loved MacGuyver as a kid, but after trying to watch an episode a while back, I found it corny and silly as could be, and MacGuyver's pinko-commie liberal ideals repugnant.
What happened to me? How did I become such an old curmudgeon?

You got older and started to listen to talk radio. It changed your whole take on the world.
I have a hard time understanding why I watched some shows growing up seeing how liberal and anti everything that is right.
Hope the headaches end soon. You could move here and have headaches of working many hours in the oil field. As long as they don't shut it down. I just talked to a guy today that told me one area where I was delivering the parts was scheduled to have 90 more wells drilled.
Well that a good thing anyway.
I can't imagine why they would shut down production of oil anywhere in the US.
they'd shut it down because there are so many enviro-nazis out there that don't realize what comes from oil. The History Channel did a modern marvels on crude oil. It was awesome.
I'd like to see one enviro go 12 hrs in one day without something from oil. They'd be naked, cold, etc. Then maybe they'd realize what oil does do for them.
Thanks Dan, now I have "Everything is ticketyboo" (or however it is spelled) stuck in my head!
Heh heh.
I watched Merry Andrew. It's still a pretty good movie. Definitely a must keep.
Dan, What are you doing for Thanksgiving? you want to come and have some Turkey with us? No I don't mean Jeremy. He won't be here.
Everything really IS tickety-boo.
